GivingPals facilitates charitable gift transactions by allowing users to select a nonprofit organization and personalize a digital greeting card.
GivingPals is not the nonprofit organization receiving the charitable donation.
Charity names, Employer Identification Numbers (EINs), and other nonprofit information displayed on GivingPals are obtained from trusted third-party data providers. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all charity information is complete, current, or error-free.
GivingPals retains a platform fee of up to 9% from qualifying transactions to support the operation of the platform. Additional information regarding platform fees is available in our Terms of Service.
Payments made through GivingPals are securely processed by Stripe.
GivingPals does not receive or store complete payment card numbers or payment credentials.
Payment information is processed directly by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s privacy and security practices.
If you choose SMS delivery, GivingPals uses Twilio to deliver transactional text messages necessary to provide our services (such as digital card delivery links, gift notifications, and account updates).
Frequency & Rates: Message frequency varies based on your activity and card deliveries. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out & Support: Recipients and users may reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving future text messages, or reply HELP for customer support assistance.
Consent: Providing a mobile phone number constitutes explicit consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to the services you request. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
SMS Data Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
GivingPals uses Resend to deliver transactional emails, including:

We will only send marketing emails if you have chosen to receive them. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.
GivingPals may offer optional AI-powered writing assistance to help users generate greeting card messages.
These features are powered by OpenAI.
AI-generated suggestions are provided solely as writing assistance. Users are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before sending.
GivingPals does not use artificial intelligence to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning users.
